Notice in Sacramento Bee

Charlotte, who passed away November 28 at age 61, will be remembered for her kindness of spirit and selfless demeanor. For her, life was not about personal gain. Instead she led a life appreciating the beauty of simple things. She leaves behind her proudest legacy, daughter Kendra Bridges, who will forever be grateful for the enduring lessons she imparted, and in awe of the grace with which she lived her life. She leaves behind a sister, Rosemarie Beck, who will miss her “pioneer spirit” that best describes her blind determination to find the best in life despite its daily obstacles. Memorial services will be announced at http://charlotteannramsey.blogspot.com/

Charlotte was the "little sister" of my dearest friend, Rosemarie. A sweet and kind woman, who faced the challenges of her life with grace. A gentle soul.

Thank you all for your kind words and memories of my mother. And special thanks to Kathleen and Bob for attending her memorial service. She truly loved working at Raley Field, and the kind words you have all shared are helpful to me.

I was truly saddened to hear that Charlotte passed away. I worked with her many times at Raley Field and it was always a pleasure. It was fun to work beside her and to talk about life in general. I will truly miss her. My
    deepest sympathies.

One of the side effects of losing a parent, is learning about how much her influence went beyond her own family to the community as well. That knowledge is comforting, and I hope this outpouring of love will lessen that feeling of loss for you. Keep her spirit close and nourish it.

I'm saddened by the news of losing a member of our Rivercat's family. Charlotte was a nice person to know and I'll miss seeing
her but I know her spirit will live with all that knew her.

I am in shock with this news and will greatly miss Charlotte... always a warm smile to greet everyone and a willingness to help wherever she could. Tireless spirit and dedication beyond words. Not having a car never kept her from her post whether it was at Raley Field or Melino's at Cal Expo, she and her trusty bike went wherever she was needed. I will miss her greatly. Kathleen Johnson

Charlotte was a very gentle soul. We spoke of her loving Daughter several times and how proud she was of her. She will be missed by the River Cats Family.
