I want to thank everyone who came to my mother's memorial service on Saturday. It was wonderful to be able to gather with family, friends, and those who knew my mother, to honor her and say our goodbyes. She would have been very happy to see everyone gathered there, and I like to think she is happy to have seen us all there, sharing our memories of her.
Thank you.
This page is dedicated to the memory of my mother Charlotte Ramsey, who passed away November 28, 2009.

Notice in Sacramento Bee
Charlotte, who passed away November 28 at age 61, will be remembered for her kindness of spirit and selfless demeanor. For her, life was not about personal gain. Instead she led a life appreciating the beauty of simple things. She leaves behind her proudest legacy, daughter Kendra Bridges, who will forever be grateful for the enduring lessons she imparted, and in awe of the grace with which she lived her life. She leaves behind a sister, Rosemarie Beck, who will miss her “pioneer spirit” that best describes her blind determination to find the best in life despite its daily obstacles. Memorial services will be announced at http://charlotteannramsey.blogspot.com/

Intent of this page
With the sudden passing of my mother, I am working my way through the necessary arrangements to take care of her affairs. I want to hold a fitting memorial for her, and feel it would be best to take the time needed to plan such an event. I decided to start this blog so that I could publish a notice of her passing in the newspaper without having to decide on the details of her memorial at the same time. I plan to post information on the memorial once it has been arranged.
Please feel free to post on this page if you would like.
